The Pinnacle Squad
We've worked hard here at Pinnacle to assemble a team of talented therapists who are caring, genuine and unique in their treatment styles and approaches to help get you to your best faster, and keep you there. Below you'll find some more information on each team so you can get to know them better.

Tom Hughes

Tom is the Owner and Founder of Pinnacle Therapy & Sports Performance. While he specializes in athletic injury rehabilitation high-performance coaching he aims to help everyone who comes through the door reach their goals for recovery and performance. He understands that not everyone has the same view of what is considered successful which is why everyone is treated uniquely to their goals and circumstance. He aims to have space where everyone feels comfortable regardless of age, gender, athletic ability, and skill level.

When he's not at the clinic chances are he's trying a new sport, at a music venue or on another adventure.

Kenisha Wilson RMT

Registered Massage Therapist

Kenisha graduated from the advanced 3000-hour program at Makami college and has a passion for helping people. Her goal is to get you back to your day-to-day life as quickly and as effectively as possible through Therapeutic touch. She offers a wide variety of massage, but loves “to the point” massage techniques that reduce or eliminate your soreness and pain in as little as a single treatment!
Rapid NeuroFascial Reset, which she is known for amongst her clientele, or cupping are two of these specific techniques. She is also well versed in relaxation techniques such as Swedish or hot stones. At the end and of the day, she is here for you! Her space is always safe, warm, and comforting. If she’s not in the clinic, she’s wherever the music takes her, on an adventure, or simply, just spending quality time with her family and friends.

Michelle Regaspi RMT

Registered Massage Therapist

Michelle's favourite thing about what she does as a massage therapist is working together with clients to get back to or continue doing what they love. Through her own experiences at one point dealing with debilitating back pain, she knows how one's quality of life can be affected by not being able to do the things she loved for her it was working out. From then on she believes how important all-around mental, emotional, physical as well as spiritual well-being is and how it is all connected. Her bodywork style includes manual therapy, myofascial release, cupping and she is also certified in kinesiotaping.

Outside of the clinic, she loves travelling, being outside, seeking new fitness endeavours, trying new foods or is on the scope at one of Edmonton's local ice cream shops.

Matt Wessel CAT (C)

Athletic Therapist

Matt is a Certified Athletic Therapist with dual degrees in Kinesiology (Sport Performance) and Kinesiology (Athletic Therapy). His personal approach involves educating and utilizing a variety of manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription to increase performance, correct the initial cause or precursor to injury, and to prevent injuries in the future. You can expect to learn a great deal about your injury and body biomechanics; but be warned, you should come prepared to sweat! Much of his experience comes from working with University or other higher-level athletes, however, he has much experience with a variety of populations. You can expect a tailor made treatment specifically for you; so you can get back to your specific sport, occupation, or recreational activity. Presently he is the Full Time Athletic Therapist at J Percy Page High School.

In his spare time, you can catch him travelling, playing sports, exploring the outdoors (with a new-found passion for single track trail running), or taking in some live tunes.
