The Pinnacle Squad
We've worked hard here at Pinnacle to assemble a team of talented therapists who are caring, genuine and unique in their treatment styles and approaches to help get you to your best faster, and keep you there. Below you'll find some more information on each team so you can get to know them better.

Tom Hughes

Tom is the Owner and Founder of Pinnacle Therapy & Sports Performance. While he specializes in athletic injury rehabilitation high-performance coaching he aims to help everyone who comes through the door reach their goals for recovery and performance. He understands that not everyone has the same view of what is considered successful which is why everyone is treated uniquely to their goals and circumstance. He aims to have space where everyone feels comfortable regardless of age, gender, athletic ability, and skill level.

When he's not at the clinic chances are he's trying a new sport, at a music venue or on another adventure.

Miranda Pisani RMT

Registered Massage Therapist

Miranda (she/her) is a Registered Massage Therapist with an affinity towards helping people feel better in their day to day. She recently graduated from a respected 2200 hour program in Edmonton and is thrilled to start practicing at Pinnacle. Her strong set is therapeutic treatment and working with repetitive strain injuries (Here’s looking at you, office and industry workers, musicians, tradespeople and just about everyone in between!) but also has great love for relaxation and prenatal massage. When Miranda isn’t at work you could probably find her roller skating, dancing with her buds or walking with her Bernese Mountain Dog, Reggie.

Kenisha Wilson RMT

Registered Massage Therapist

Kenisha is a Registered Massage Therapist who has a passion and love for helping people. She enjoys figuring out how to effectively treat her clients through therapeutic touch, so they can feel better in their everyday lives. She graduated from an advanced 3000-hour program this June and is ready to show off her skills. Kenisha loves music, sports, poetry, and the fine arts of life.

If she’s not in the clinic, she’s getting lost to the music at a festival, on a magical adventure, spending quality time with family/friends, or finding better ways to treat her wonderful clients.

Kenisha offers deep tissue and therapeutic techniques (her niche!), relaxation, prenatal, and cupping!

Matt Wessel CAT (C)

Athletic Therapist

Matt is a Certified Athletic Therapist with dual degrees in Kinesiology (Sport Performance) and Kinesiology (Athletic Therapy). His personal approach involves educating and utilizing a variety of manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription to increase performance, correct the initial cause or precursor to injury, and to prevent injuries in the future. You can expect to learn a great deal about your injury and body biomechanics; but be warned, you should come prepared to sweat! Much of his experience comes from working with University or other higher-level athletes, however, he has much experience with a variety of populations. You can expect a tailor made treatment specifically for you; so you can get back to your specific sport, occupation, or recreational activity. Presently he is the Full Time Athletic Therapist at J Percy Page High School.

In his spare time, you can catch him travelling, playing sports, exploring the outdoors (with a new-found passion for single track trail running), or taking in some live tunes.

Our team is always growing!
